Summary Convictions

A summary conviction is a minor offence that can result in imprisonment for 6 months or a fine of $5000 perhaps both depending on the conviction. Possession of marijuana is an example of a summary conviction and can be punishable usually by a fine and rarely is jail time sentenced. Another option is to go into hiding for 6 whole months so that charges can no longer be laid on you, that always works...
